Bath Oils and Scrubs
Pure organic essential oils need to be diluted for use in baths during pregnancy and for babies and children. Sunflower Studios uses a pure vegetable based disperser. These bath oils will bring delight to your senses for a truly magical bath time. Bath oils specific to your needs as an expectant mummy can be bespoke blended for you, please enquire about this.

Body scrubs are made using mineral rich Dead Sea salts, pure organic sunflower oil, and pure organic essential oils. Sunflower Studios body scrubs nourish and refresh your body, they cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise all at once.

Natural Skin Creams
Sunflower Studios natural skin creams are made from organic flower waters, Jojoba oil, vegetable emulsifying wax, grapefruit seed extract and vitamin E. All creams can be bespoke blended to meet your specific needs.

Bespoke creams can be commissioned for treating specific conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, which occasionally flare up during pregnancy.

Stretch Mark Cream
A popular cream during pregnancy is the ‘Beautiful Bump’ tummy cream. This cream is designed specifically to nourish and support the skin on the tummy as it expands to accommodate a growing baby, reducing the appearance of stretch marks. It contains pure organic ingredients, including organic essential oils of Frankincense, Rosewood and Neroli.

Some women are more prone to stretch marks during pregnancy, but daily use of this cream will greatly reduce the likelihood of developing stretch marks during pregnancy. It is important to continue to use the cream for at least 1 month after baby is born, while the skin is returning to its ‘pre-baby’ state.

Burner Oil Blends
Sunflower Studios essential oil blends for burners can offer great comfort and support during pregnancy, from helping to calm nausea, to overcoming the butterflies when it comes time for you to give birth. Oils can be bespoke blended to give you a personalised ‘birth blend’ to bring a peaceful and calm environment to your birthing room.

Aromatic Waters – Toners & Sprays
Sweet scented waters, produced during the distillation process of essential oils, known as Hydrosols, make wonderful toners and facial spritzers during pregnancy. Aromatic Waters don't require any of the harsh fillers and preservatives used in readily available cosmetic toners, so are very gentle and pure products. Sunflower Studios Hydrosols come in glass bottles with spray tops for easy application.

Perineal Massage
Sunflower Studios also offers a leaflet on Perineal Massage. This is a really valuable skill to learn in preparation for birth. Please enquire if you would like one of these leaflets.

Sunflower Studios recommends using unscented, pure organic vegetable oil to perform perineal massage. The richer oils really nourish the skin, and help to reduce the risk of tearing or the need for an episiotomy during labour.
